Description
All aboard for Christmas Eve. The Thomas Kinkade Studios Musical Santa Train Sculpture captures one of the season’s most nostalgic images: a steam engine rolling through a snowy village, its headlamp cutting through the winter dark as Santa rides up front with a car full of gifts. Every detail is hand-cast in artist’s resin and hand-painted, from the wisps of smoke at the stack to the tiny figures bundled up along the tracks below.
Flip the switch and the scene comes alive. The engine’s cab and headlamp glow, a lit reproduction of Kinkade’s beloved “Victorian Christmas II” shines from the side of the train, and the village underneath lights up house by house. A medley of eight favorite holiday carols plays softly in the background, turning this into more than a shelf piece. It’s a small, self-contained Christmas Eve, set on a wood-toned display base built to last well beyond one season.
